When Carolyn Izzo approached me to illustrate her first children’s book, I was hesitant knowing I hadn’t illustrated a book before. When she shared with me that she hadn’t been an author before, we both agreed to dive into the unknown, together. After two years of research, trial and error, I’m A Unicorn With One Red Wing was published on Amazon in October 2022 and was #1 new release in the bullying category for children’s books for over a week! The positive feedback we continually receive is not only related to the message in the story itself, but the beautiful illustrations, colorful pages, and unique look of the main character, Molly! I’m so glad Carolyn and I worked on this project together.I accomplished something so important to me, and that was to be a published book illustrator. I did it!
