Hi there!
Allow me to introduce myself, I am Aimée Wheaton AKA the Bird of 3 Tuxies & A Bird Studio. Yes, I have 3 wonderful tuxies named Zooey, Wishbone and Pip and they were the inspiration for my business name.
I have always been creative since I was very young and I always strive to stay creative and learn new things as I feel they all flow into each kind of creativity. I like to build upon my skills and hopefully come up with unique items to share with the world. I've been a graphic designer, mixed media artist, art teacher, book illustrator and now jewelry maker!
I am first and foremost a mother to my two amazing daughters, I've been married for almost half my life to my hubby and we live in FL (for now). I miss the mountains! One day I hope to have an amazing mountain studio. I have constant wanderlust which is why I'm the bird, always wanting to fly away on some adventure.
I've been metal smithing for almost 4 years now and it is truly my passion. I've been lucky enough to take classes locally to build those skills but this started a long time ago when I was 16 and took my first class.
I hope you enjoy what you see, it all comes from my heart with a lot of love! I love owning unique pieces and I'm sure you do too. Everything is one-of-a-kind and not mass produced.
