Shenanigans Necklace

At the widest part it’s approximately 1.5”W x 2.5”L and weighs about 1 Oz, this is a heavier necklace due to the amount of silver on it. Fine Silver, Sterling, Liver of Sulfur, sapphire. Rope Chain length is 18” long.

This started out as a beautiful spoon on Cape Cod, my friend purchased it for me to make a spoon ring for her, not wanting to waste silver Icame up with this fun and funky pendant. The back says, “Take Time for Shenanigans” I like the juxtaposition of the serious Victorian cameo look and the word “Shenanigans”. This is a reminder to keep the fun in your life when things get serious. The cameo on the front I created a mold of and made it into Fine Silver, I purchased a Victorian brooch and created this design from that. The cabochon is a beautiful blue sapphire with just a hint of brown in it. Hard to capture the color of it. I hope this beauty brings you joy!
